Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic IT Internship (with allowance) to assist our IT department with a variety of tasks. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience, work on real-world projects, and develop skills in IT support, systems management, and cybersecurity. The ideal candidate is a proactive learner with a strong interest in technology and a desire to contribute to our IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
Provide technical support to staff and end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Help manage and maintain the company's network infrastructure, including servers, routers, and switches.
Support the implementation and monitoring of cybersecurity measures to protect company data and systems.
Document and track IT issues, solutions, and processes using ticketing systems and other tools.
Assist with software installations, updates, and patch management.
Participate in IT projects and initiatives, including system upgrades and new technology implementations.
Collaborate with the IT team to identify and resolve technical problems and improve IT processes.

Qualifications:

Current enrollment in a relevant degree program (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity) or recent graduate.
Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques.
Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and office productivity software.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Enthusiasm for learning and staying updated on the latest technology trends.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of networking concepts (e.g., IP addressing, subnetting, VPNs).
Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
Familiarity with IT service management tools and practices.

The Work Set-Up:

Work onsite
Monday to Saturday (7am to 4pm)
Must be flexible for shift change and for on-call duties

Unit 1E, Philexcel Business Park Annex, Clark Freeport Zone, 2023, Pampanga, Philippines.
