Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy IT Intern to assist our IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems. The intern will gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting issues, providing technical support, and learning how our IT infrastructure operates. Key Responsibilities:

Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, software, and networks.
Provide support for IT-related issues such as troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
Support the IT team with network management, including monitoring network performance and security.
Help in setting up user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
Support data backup and recovery procedures.
Maintain IT documentation, including equipment inventory and technical manuals.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including updating software and antivirus programs.
Collaborate with team members on special IT projects as assigned.

Requirements:

Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and/or Linux operating systems.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Preferred Skills (Not Required):

Experience with coding or scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
Familiarity with cloud computing services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals.
Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL).
