The Hendricks House Group is looking to hire a Substance Abuse Counselor who will be responsible for managing a caseload of clients in a residential halfway house treatment facility in Millville The ideal candidate will be a CADC, a licensed clinician (LCSW, LAC, etc) or a CADC Intern.

Applicants will work onsite Monday - Friday (Weekends OFF).

Must be able to work M-Th evenings from 12:30 pm to 9 pm and Friday 9a-5:30p. (HHG is flexible with what day you choose as your early day if you would like a different early day of the week for NA/AA self help home groups.)

Job responsibilities are:

Case Management.
Conduct Individual and group counseling sessions.
Complete NJSAMS intakes.
Development of the client discharge/continuum of care plan to ensure movement to the appropriate levels of care.
Maintain client caseload (including all case management and utilization review updates). Treatment planning duties and clinical charting as required.
Provide coordination of support services for the client/family and record the services provided in the client’s clinical record.
Develop and maintain documentation.

Salary: starting at $19/hr for Interns and $25/hr for CADC or Licensed therapist

Experience:

Addiction counseling: 1 year (Preferred)
