We’re hiring a Data Science Intern to support our data-driven strategy and contribute to impactful business/product insights. You’ll work closely with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to develop, refine, and scale models and analyses that inform decision-making and drive growth. This is a unique opportunity to play an essential role in transforming data into actionable insights, collaborating across teams to tackle challenging problems, and making a real impact within a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
Your impact:
- Analyze and interpret complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support our business objectives.
- Work with various data sources, developing scalable queries and pipelines to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Contribute to developing and deploying predictive models, using data science methodologies to address real business challenges.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders and other team members to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions.
- Use version control, code reviews, and testing frameworks to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
- Participate in team meetings, contribute ideas, and present findings to stakeholders across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or Ph.D. in a STEM field or a related technical discipline.
- Familiarity with languages commonly used in data science such as Python or R; experience with SQL and data querying is a plus.
- Hands-on project or internship experience analyzing data and building statistical or machine learning models.
- An understanding of data wrangling and data cleaning techniques, and experience working with large, structured, or unstructured datasets.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a creative approach to handling data challenges.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical findings in a clear, actionable way to non-technical stakeholders.
Compensation & Benefits
The hourly wage that we reasonably expect to pay for this role is: $40.00 - 48.00 per hour.
The actual base salary/hourly wage for this role will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to: the candidate’s skills, education, experience, etc.
Please note that base pay is one important aspect of a compelling Total Rewards package. The base pay range indicated here does not include any additional benefits or bonuses/commissions that you may be eligible for based on your role and/or employment type.
