Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Architectural Intern to join our dynamic team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for aspiring architects to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of architectural design and project management. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior architects and project managers, contributing to innovative design solutions and assisting in the development of projects from concept through completion.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of architectural designs and presentations using CAD software, including Revit.
- Support the development of construction documents and specifications.
- Collaborate with team members on various projects, including renovations and new builds.
- Participate in site visits to gather information and assess project progress.
- Conduct construction estimating and budgeting tasks as needed.
- Utilize Rhinoceros 3D for modeling and visualization purposes.
- Engage in interior design discussions to enhance project aesthetics.
- Help manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful completion.
Experience
- Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and Revit.
- Understanding of construction management principles and practices.
- Knowledge of construction estimating techniques and budgeting processes.
- Experience or coursework related to interior design is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- A passion for architecture, design, and a desire to learn from experienced professionals.
